About CSVall
Last updated: 28 June 2026
CSVall exists because people still wrestle with spreadsheets every day—exports from banks, e‑commerce, CRMs, and legacy systems—yet many “free” tools quietly upload your file to a server. We took a different path: you open our site, you run the conversion or cleanup in your browser, and your data never transits through our infrastructure for processing.
What we actually build
We maintain a growing catalogue of small, focused utilities: viewers, converters, and helpers aimed at real CSV workflows—messy quoting, odd delimiters, huge files you only want to sample, and one‑off exports you need in another format. Each tool is designed to fail loudly when something is wrong (bad encoding, empty sheet, wrong extension) instead of silently mangling your numbers.
When a feature needs heavy client‑side work—parsing a Word table, stitching OFX‑shaped output for accounting tools—we keep that logic in the page you loaded. We optimise for speed on typical laptop hardware because we use these same flows ourselves on support tickets and side projects.
Who this is for
Freelance bookkeepers, ops analysts, students, and developers routinely land here from search. We write for people who already know what a delimiter is but do not have time to wire up a Python script for a one‑time file. You will find plain language in the UI, copy‑pastable outputs, and downloads that work without creating an account.

Khalid Danishyar is the founder and website developer behind CSVall. He is a professional website designer and full-stack developer based in Kabul, Afghanistan, with more than seven years of experience building websites and web applications for businesses worldwide.
Khalid designed and built CSVall as a Next.js platform so CSV conversions run locally in the browser—without routing sensitive exports through third-party servers. His work spans React, Next.js, database development, and SEO.

Company & governance
CSVall (csvall.com) is an independent software publisher focused on browser-local CSV utilities. We maintain public About, Privacy, Terms, Contact, Authors, Company, and Version history pages with visible update dates. Policy changes bump the date at the top of each page.
Editorial standards & limitations
We ship tools, not personalised financial or legal advice. Outputs depend on the file you supply: garbage in remains garbage out. We test edge cases we have seen in production—UTF‑8 BOMs, European decimal commas, ragged rows—but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every downstream system.
If you spot a reproducible bug, tell us through the contact page. We prioritise fixes that affect data integrity over cosmetic issues.
Advertising & sustainability
Hosting and bandwidth cost money. Where we show display advertising (for example through Google AdSense), we keep those placements separate from the processing surface so ads do not masquerade as actions. Our privacy and cookie policies explain what measurement vendors may set; your uploaded file content is still not sent to us as part of the tool pipeline.
We reject aggressive ad formats that trap clicks or fake download buttons. If an ad network ever conflicts with that rule, we drop the placement or the partner.
How to reach us
Use the Contact page for licensing, partnership, and abuse reports. We read everything; we are a small team, so complex questions may take a few business days. For legal notices, include the exact URL and a concise description of the problem—that speeds up routing.
