Cookie policy
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This page lists how CSVall uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies. It pairs with our Privacy policy. We keep the language concrete so you can complete a transparency checklist for advertising programmes.
Technologies we use
Cookies are small text files browsers store on your device. Local and session storage hold larger key‑value pairs on your device. Pixels and tags load from third parties and may write identifiers.
You can delete or block these technologies through browser settings, but some Site features may stop working if you block essentials.
First‑party essentials
We may set first‑party cookies or storage keys that remember your language choice, theme, or similar UI preferences. These keys support basic usability and do not track you across unrelated sites in the advertising sense.
Session tooling
Some tools write short‑lived session data so a results screen survives a refresh. That data lives under your browser’s sessionStorage until you close the tab or clear site data. It is not a tracking profile across the open web.
Advertising & measurement cookies
Where we show ads—such as through Google AdSense—Google and partner networks may set or read cookies and advertising identifiers. Purposes typically include delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, fraud detection, and personalised ads where allowed.
Use your browser’s controls, your Google Ads Settings, and industry opt‑out pages to reduce personalised ads. Blocking third‑party cookies outright may reduce revenue to us but is your choice.
Analytics
If we enable privacy‑conscious analytics, we will name the provider here and describe whether it uses cookies or anonymised pings. We avoid fingerprinting as a primary metric.
Managing cookies
Every major browser offers settings to block third‑party cookies, delete cookies on exit, or clear data for a single site. Mobile browsers include similar toggles.
EU/EEA/UK visitors may see a consent banner where the law requires it. Your choices there control non‑essential storage for that session where our banner is wired to vendors that honour IAB TCF signals.
Updates
When we add a new vendor category that stores persistent identifiers, we update this policy and bump the date. Review the page after major site changes.
